The main purpose of this blog is to help you succeed in your business.

The name Marketer Synergy came from the idea that two heads are better than one. By having a dialogue, you and I will learn more than if we lived in a vacuum.  You only truly understand what you can teach.

Not everyone in charge of putting together their company’s promotions have degrees in marketing. And yet it’s essential to make sure that your marketing and promotions are effective. A successful marketing or promotional campaign is more than just a great product.  I want to make sure that we not only find a great idea, but do all the other things necessary to make a promotion successful.

About Me:

My name is Michael Lombardi, I’m currently living in Indianapolis, Indiana, and I have a Biology degree from Florida State University. The first part may not have surprised you, but what does my degree in biology have to do with marketing and promotional products?

I work as a promotional products distributor at Progressive Design Apparel, here in Indianapolis. That means I’m technically a salesperson, but when I look in the mirror I don’t see a salesperson. Maybe I’ve had too many bad experiences with high pressure salespeople. But I’m not a salesperson, I’m a scientist. That said, I was also a science teacher for a few years at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando and Rutherford High School in Panama City, Florida. So I’m a scientist, a teacher, and a promotional products distributor. Have you seen what common trait there is between the best scientists, teachers, and salespeople?

I love to solve problems; big problems, small problems, all problems. Believe it or not, finding solutions to your problems is much more motivating to me than selling you something you don’t need. Besides, if I did that you wouldn’t ever come back. So the only way I sell promotional products is if I solve your problem. And lucky for me as I said, solving problems is what I love to do.

As far as me actually selling anything through this blog, I’m not going to turn down someone who wants to work with me, but that’s not my purpose in creating Marketer Synergy. In fact, having a blog solely to sell your services is against the terms of service of WordPress. As I said at the top of this page, “the main purpose of this blog is to help you succeed in your business.” That might make you skeptical of my altruism, but I assure you that I will learn as much from reading and responding to your comments as you will from reading my posts (if not more).
